Wallpetals Security Statement
Wallpetals.com
has created this security statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment
to site security. Along with our privacy policy,
we hope these statements make you confident that shopping online at our site
is a secure, safe experience. This site has security measures in place to protect
the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
- Our server includes an independently verified certificate which
assures you that we are a valid business and that the server you are submitting
information to is owned by us. You can verify this by clicking on the Site Seal above.
- We use 40/128 bit SSL encryption to collect all information during checkout,
including your name, address, and payment information. We therefore require
your browser support this level of encryption. Most modern browsers do, and
this requires no action on your part. You can assure SSL encryption is enabled
by checking for a small solid key (Netscape) or closed lock (Internet Explorer)
icon in the lower bar of your browser window. See your browser documentation
for more information.
- Credit card information is not only sent SSL encrypted, it is also stored
on the server using a strong encryption algorithm. It is not stored in clear
text format anywhere. The payment information is then offloaded to another
machine and removed from the production server.
- Our sites uses browser cookies to keep track of your current shopping cart and other
information about your order. They are used for the duration of your visit only.
There has been a lot written about the security and privacy of online shopping.
While documented cases are extremely rare, we do take these issues seriously
and take measures to ensure you are protected. If you have any questions or
concerns, please send an email to security@wallpetals.com.
