Cheri Blum
Raised in the Chesapeake Bay area, Blum's art background includes a Fine Arts Degree from the
University of Delaware and an early career as an illustrator and student of decorative painting in a
DC studio. It was during this time that she learned the techniques of faux, mural, and trompe l'oeil
painting. Influenced by the craftsmanship of the Old Masters, Blum's style allows her to draw inspiration
from fine art, yet end up with pieces that reflect today's modern style.

Anne Ormsby
As one of this country's dominant watercolor artists, Anne Ormsby maintains a refreshing painterly
quality, which is refined, yet unpretentious and gleefully naive at times. Ormsby's sources of
inspiration seem to be as eclectic as the media with which she works. She varies her subject matter
with whim and ease, and can seemingly paint anything that strikes her fancy. Her media spans
watercolor, pastel, ink with wash, colored pencil and acrylic.
